How do cells die
There are two kinds of cell death: one is abnormal death, which means that cells are unable to respond because of irreparable trauma or sudden deterioration of the environment, leading to cell death. The other is normal death, the name of cell biology: programmed death or apoptosis, which is controlled by intracellular factors and is beneficial to the survival of the whole organization or individual.
Programmed cell death first forms apoptotic bodies, which are characterized by chromatin concentration and random degradation into small fragments, nuclear membrane rupture, organelle expansion, cell membrane folding, wrapping cell contents and broken DNA, forming apoptotic bodies, and then being recognized and digested by phagocytes in surrounding tissues.
