Basic situation of Donghai Navigation Security Center of Ministry of Transport

The construction and maintenance of navigation AIDS, port channel mapping and water safety communication are the basic, technical and supporting work for shipping safety, water transport economic development and marine development and utilization. Since the founding of New China, especially in the past 30 years of reform and opening up, with the great attention of the State Council and the Ministry of Transport and the full promotion of the maritime system, the maritime security work in the East China Sea has been synchronized with the development of ports and shipping economy in the sea area, and new progress has been made in all work and new breakthroughs have been achieved.

By the end of 20 12 and 1 1, the East China Sea had managed 5,028 navigation AIDS, built 64 coastal AIS platforms and 94 inland river platforms, covering the East China Sea and high-grade inland river channels in Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong, Sichuan, Chongqing and Hubei provinces and cities. Large sailing ships went to Korea, Dalian and Fuzhou for many times to clean up oil spills, and were commended by the Ministry of Transport, the Maritime Safety Administration and Shanghai for many times. The quality of nautical surveying and charting is improving. At present, it has taken the lead in realizing the universal low-precision web service of electronic chart. In the whole year of 20 12 (by the end of 10), the task of measuring the water area of 10093.7 square kilometers was completed, 64 paper charts 164 electronic charts 120 were compiled and published, and the emergency scanning was successfully completed. Navigation-related information is continuously sent to navigation users free of charge through professional platforms. In the whole year of 20 12 (up to the end of June/0/0), 5 public safety communication messages (kloc-0/2829) were sent, and 669 emergency search and rescue distress messages were handled, which provided safe communication guarantee for China's coastal navigation and Somali escort. Navigation safety in the East China Sea has made an important and indelible contribution to ensuring navigation safety, serving economic development and promoting social harmony and stability.
