Method for extracting starch from yam bean

1. First, choose fresh yam bean, wash yam bean, remove impurities and dirt on the surface, chop it into small pieces or pieces, and soak it in enough water 12 to 24 hours.

2. Secondly, stir the soaked yam bean evenly, filter out the bean dregs with a fine net or filter screen, and let it stand for a period of time to allow starch to precipitate. The water in the upper layer is removed or pumped out, and the starch water is concentrated by evaporation or centrifugation until a dense starch slurry is obtained.

3. Finally, pour the starch slurry evenly on a dry flat plate and dry it in a well-ventilated environment until the starch is completely dried into powder.
