Transparent png image mapping method for C4D Arnold renderer

First, prepare the png pictures that need to be pasted, one png and one black and white. Note that the graphics that need to be displayed here are white, and those that don't need to be displayed are black. (as shown below)

Then set up a simple scene. Here, for convenience, I just make a cube, add Arnold parameter label to the cube, and uncheck opaque under Arnold parameter label. If you don't cancel, you can try it yourself and see what effect it has -W-.

Then create a new Arnold material ball and give it to the cube. Open the Arnold material editor and drag in two prepared pictures, in which the png picture connects the colors and the black and white picture connects the geometry-trim the transparency. Here I built a ground and gave it a blue material to be more intuitive. Now we can see that the cube is gone, only the pasted picture can be seen. Then someone said, what if I want to show the original material in a cube and stick a picture with this pattern? This is the way to put a trademark on many products. Let me also talk about it below.

Next, create a new Arnold material. I made a wood grain material here, so I won't elaborate on how to do it. Give the wood grain material to the cube, and then we find that the wood grain material covers our original texture material. What should we do?

First, replace the label of the texture material and the wood material, so that the label of the texture material is at the back. Then, click on the texture material, select alpha, change the mode to the material, and select our previous black and white texture. At this time, you will find that our texture is perfectly displayed on the wood grain.

This is the method of transparent png image mapping with C4D Arnold renderer ~

With this method, we can also paste tattoos on people. As shown in the figure, a new doll is created, and C is dropped. Select a face of the doll's upper body in the face mode, give it a good map, cancel the tiling under the material label, and then adjust the UV parameters according to the actual effect to get a tattoo effect. < P > You can also do luminous tattoos and other effects with this idea, as shown in the figure, connect the black and white map to the self-luminous weight, and change the color of the luminous tattoo by adjusting the self-luminous color.
