Yuanbao shrimp is a sea shrimp or freshwater shrimp
Yuanbao shrimp is sea shrimp not freshwater shrimp. Yuanbao shrimp, also known as Arctic shrimp, is a kind of natural wild shrimp growing in the deep sea from the waters of the North Atlantic Ocean, which is pre-cooked, graded, frozen and packaged immediately after catching to ensure its freshness, so Yuanbao shrimp is a kind of saltwater shrimp, not freshwater shrimp. In Shengsi, Zhejiang Province, there is a Huanglong Island which is rich in Yuanbao Shrimp. Yuanbao Shrimp is a dish known for its unique shape and delicious taste, and the name of this dish comes from the change of the shrimp during the cooking process, in which the back of the shrimp is bent after frying and takes on a golden yellow color, which, from a far away, resembles the ancient golden dollar, thus earning the name Yuanbao Shrimp.
