GIGABYTE motherboard bios setup for hard drive booting

To set your GIGABYTE motherboard's BIOS to boot from your hard drive, follow these steps:

1. Enter the BIOS setup utility. During computer boot-up, a prompt message is usually displayed telling which key to press to enter BIOS/UEFI setup, such as DEL, F2, F12, Esc, etc. The BIOS settings can be accessed through a web browser.

2. Find the boot options. In the BIOS setup screen, look for "Boot", "BootOptions", "BootOrder" or similar options, which may be located under under a different menu.

3. Change the hard disk boot order. In the Boot Options, you will see a list of the current boot device order. Select the hard disk boot order and move it to the first place to ensure that the computer boots from the hard disk first.

4. Save your changes and exit. Use the corresponding key (usually the F10 key) to save your changes and exit the BIOS setup. Some BIOS setups will prompt you to save your changes.

5. Restart the computer. The computer will reboot based on the new BIOS settings. If the settings are correct, the computer should boot from the selected hard drive. Please note that different makes and models of computers may have different BIOS setup methods. Follow the prompts when accessing the BIOS screen and change the settings carefully to avoid unnecessary problems.
