History of Mang Listen Park in Xishuangbanna
Man Listening Park, formerly the royal garden of the Dai King, has a history of more than 1300 years. The scenic spot focuses on the three major themes of "Dai royal culture, Buddhist culture and Dai folk culture". Man Listen Park is the oldest park in Xishuangbanna, the Dai people used to call her "Chunhuan", meaning "Garden of the Soul", used to be the royal garden of the Dai King of Xishuangbanna, and the legend says that when the Dai King's consort came to play, the beautiful scenery here attracted the consort's soul, and thus it got its name.
Entering the gate of the park, the first eye is a commemorative Premier Zhou Enlai dressed in Dai, the left hand end of the bowl of water, the right hand holding an olive branch to participate in the splash full-body bronze statue. The left side of the bronze statue is the Princess of the Kingdom of Thailand planted two linden trees to symbolize the friendship between China and Thailand.
