Under the influence of emancipating the ideological trend, the whole fashion industry in China is changing, the aesthetic consciousness of the public is improving, and the decorative techniques of designers are also contending. During this period, the decorative meaning of cheongsam was naturally very strong. During this period, there were many decorative patterns on the cuffs and collars of cheongsam, which appeared in disorder on cheongsam, bringing full decorative meaning to cheongsam.

In the trend of decorative art, artists like to decorate with geometric figures. In western decorative arts, there are a lot of geometric patterns, such as sunlight radiation and zigzag. The widely used theme is geometric patterns, which put all kinds of beautiful patterns such as flowers, birds, fish and insects, geometric shapes and so on. In the regular arrangement of geometric frames, thus forming a pattern with a sense of rhythm and layering. Geometric patterns can be changed into various patterns by changing different shapes, sizes, colors, light and shade, and light perception. These patterns can be dots, lines, diamonds, triangles and other different shapes. Through different arrangements, it presents a cheerful and concise sense of modernity. These often appear in cheongsam printing.
