This soap is suitable for summer, in winter it is better to infuse olive oil.

2. Weigh 149g of purified water, then 74.5g of sodium hydroxide, and slowly pour the sodium hydroxide into the water. This process must be careful.

3. Stir the alkaline water until the sodium hydroxide is completely dissolved; set it aside and wait for the temperature to drop to 50℃.

4, weigh the oils and mix all: 75g coconut oil, 75g palm oil, 50g rice bran oil, 50g olive oil, 250g lavender canola oil (you can use the cap of the bottle when pouring to properly stop too much lavender from mixing in). The olive oil here is recommended to use EV grade, that is, virgin, slightly more expensive, but more nutritious, better feeling of use.

5. Heat the blended oil over water until it reaches 50°C.

6. Slowly pour the 50C sodium hydroxide solution from step 2 into the oil mixture, stirring as you pour. Be sure to pour into the oil with a silky stream of water, while avoiding to prevent the sodium hydroxide solution from splashing onto your body.

7. Continue stirring in one direction for about 1-2 hours; keep stirring until it's as thick as salad dressing (make lines on the surface, and the lines can stay for more than 10 seconds). Churning the soap doesn't really have to be limited to this time; it could take three or four hours, or it could be most of the day, or even a day, depending on the recipe.

9, poured into the favorite mold, in the mold covered with plastic wrap, it will be placed in a foam box or a well-sealed box insulation 24 hours (you can put a bottle of hot water in the insulation box, more conducive to the saponification reaction).

10, 24 hours after the release of the mold, but at this time the handmade soap can not be used, to be placed in a cool, dry ventilation place to dry 1 month later, waiting for it to mature.

Note:

Because there is no added chemical stabilizers, preservatives, matured handmade soap is best to be used within a year, if full of yellow spots on behalf of it has been rancid can not be used.
