Beijing Guomian No.3 Factory is located at Ciyun Temple in Chaoyang District, east and south of Ciyun Temple Bridge in the East Fourth Ring Road. Ocean International Center and Ocean World Community are the former sites of China Cotton No.3 Factory.
At one time, China Cotton No.3 Factory was divided into production area and living area. The production area is the workshop of the whole factory, in Lunan (now Yuanyang Tiandi Community) and the living area is in Lubei. Now the factory is gone, but most of the people living in the living area are retired workers and their families from the third national cotton mill.
