Interesting places in Quanzhou

First, Quanzhou Zhongpu Beicuo

One of the wonders of Quanzhou is that Pupu's mussels are covered with walls made of mussels. A large area of gray-white mussel shells, white granite and red bricks form a pattern with strong color contrast and aesthetic feeling. The blocked mussel shell is as beautiful as a fish scale.

The women here, together with Hui 'an women and Meizhou women, are known as the three major fishing women in Fujian, and are also a major folk spectacle along the coast of southern Fujian. They wear flowers in their heads, lavender earrings, big ruffles and wide-leg pants, forming a unique style.

Second, Quanzhou Anping Bridge

There is a Luoyang Bridge in Quanzhou, which is said to be as famous as Zhao Zhouqiao in Zhao County, Hebei Province. However, there is also a Anping Bridge in Quanzhou, which is also highly recommended. It is the longest existing stone bridge in ancient China, located in the bay between Anhai Town in Jinjiang, Quanzhou and Shuitou Town in Nan 'an. Enjoy the reputation of "there is no bridge in the world".

The inscription here reads: "It is 800 feet long, straight as a rope, flat as a stone, hidden as a rainbow, swimming around, worn by the people and bustling." Now its traffic function has receded and it has become a place for local people to relax!

Third, Quanzhou West Street.

Every city has its own old street, and the west street in Quanzhou can be said to be the origin of Quanzhou. This is the earliest street developed in Quanzhou. As early as the Song Dynasty, it had already symbolized the prosperity of Quanzhou. It is also the most complete preserved ancient block in Quanzhou, with a large number of buildings with historical original appearance!

There are many Quanzhou cuisines in West Street, especially this Runbing. I have been to China on the tip of my tongue. How about trying it on West Street?

Many interesting scenic spots in Quanzhou are also located on this street. In addition to Kaiyuan Temple, East West Tower, Qingqingmen, downtown towers, celebrity mansions and modern foreign buildings, there are a large number of ancient buildings and antique wooden buildings with unique charm, which is simply a living architectural museum, witnessing the vicissitudes of Quanzhou ancient city in the past 100 years.

Four, Quanzhou Tianhou Palace

Quanzhou Tianhou Palace is located atNo. 1 Tianhou Road, South Gate, Quanzhou. It is dedicated to Mazu and was built in the second year of Song Qingyuan (AD 1 196). Mazu was called "Quanzhou Poseidon" and later became a national Poseidon, spreading overseas. This temple has the highest etiquette standard among similar buildings at home and abroad, and the existing buildings are large in scale and well preserved. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were still some Song Dynasty components and wooden structures.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) Wudian City, Quanzhou

Wudian City is an old street in Quanzhou. It is said that during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, five Chuas opened five restaurants on the official road at the foot of Qingyang Mountain. Villagers from Shishi, Anhai and other places went to town and happened to meet a lunch, which hit the nail on the head here. For a time, the wine flag was in the wind, and the saying "Qingyang Cai, Wudian City" spread like wildfire. Now it has been developed in a protective way, retaining its quaint style, the soul of the elderly, modern fashion and full of literary atmosphere, which is especially suitable for young people to come here.

Sixth, Quanzhou Cao An

Cao An, located at the foot of Huabiao Mountain in Jinjiang, Quanzhou, was built on a bench stone with a boulder as the wall. Although this temple is small, it has two major features: First, there are embossed Manichaean Buddha statues carved on the cliffs inside the temple, with radiant patterns on the back, wearing Buddhist clothes, with a kind face and simple carving. It is the only complete Manichaean relic in China. Manichaeism is Zoroastrianism that we see in movies and TV plays. Second, in 1933- 12, the mage moved from kaiyuan temple to Cao An for the winter, and he also wrote a Walking Note about his activities in Cao An during this period. Since then, I have been to Cao An many times, sometimes for a long time, sometimes for a short time. This master not only wrote two antithetical couplets for Cao An, but also wrote a book "Fuxing Cao An Monument", which left important historical documents for the ancient temple.

Seven, Quanzhou Pangong

Quanzhou Pangong is located in the middle of the commercial street in Licheng District. It was originally built in the Song Dynasty, also known as the "Sage Gate", but the old building has been abandoned. The existing building 19 14 has been rebuilt for a hundred years.

The surrounding Confucian Temple, Minglun Hall, Zhuangjichang Champion Temple, Wen Zhuang Caigong Temple and Zhusiqiao are all planned in Confucian Temple Square, and there are many shopping malls around.

Eight, Quanzhou Confucian Temple

Quanzhou Confucian Temple, located in Pangong, Licheng District, is now the largest Confucian Temple complex in Southeast China, with a large scale and complete regulations. Many Quanzhou people come here with their children and pray for academic success.

Nine, Quanzhou Copper Buddha Temple

In addition to many large temples, Quanzhou is also famous for its small size. For example, this small temple, the bronze Buddha Temple, was built in the seventh year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty, and is famous for offering 16 bronze buddhas cast during Shunzhi period in the Qing Dynasty. In modern times, Master Hongyi, a monk, hung a tin lecture here twice and inscribed "Ancient Bronze Buddhist Temple". Although the temple is small, it is exquisite!
