The current National High School Basketball League teams must be full-time general secondary schools, and member schools of the Chinese Association of Secondary Schools Sports Branch, the tournament is divided into three stages: the first stage of the provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government) selection, North and South of the 10 districts, the champion of each province (municipalities) will take part in the second stage of the North and South Divisional selection, and finally by the North and South of the top two cross-elimination matches, and decide the overall champion.
