Name of internal structure of old house
The largest and tallest building on the front of the old house is called the main room (the cave is called the main kiln), and the rooms on the east and west sides are called the east wing and the west wing respectively. Those with upper and lower courtyards are called upper (lower) east wing and west wing, while those with small rooms in the south are directly called south wing, and those with high courtyards are called south hall. If the intermediate people's court has a room that can walk back and forth, it is called the lobby. If there are courtyards on both sides of the main courtyard, the names of houses are distinguished by their functions, such as cupboards, mills and warehouses.
