Why does it feel hard to earn money now?

Combined with China's current economic situation, I think the following factors may contribute to the factors that make people feel that it is difficult to earn money now:

1. Economic growth is slowing down: China's economic growth rate has slowed down over the past few years. As economic development has entered a new normal, the growth rate has gradually declined. This has led to increased competition in the market, and corporate profitability may be compressed to some extent, thus affecting salary growth and employment opportunities.

2. Structural Adjustment: China's economy is undergoing structural adjustment to achieve a more sustainable growth model. This means that some traditional industries may be at risk of transformation and obsolescence, while new industries will take some time to develop. During this transition process, some industries and groups of people may feel the difficulty of earning money.

3. Fierce competition in the job market: China has a large population and the job market is highly competitive. There are a huge number of college graduates every year, while at the same time, some traditional industries and manufacturing industries have reduced employment opportunities. This leads to increased employment pressure, making it more difficult to find a satisfying job and get a good salary.

4. Rising business costs: Labor costs, prices and real estate prices are all rising in China. In order to control costs, companies may limit employee salary increases or reduce hiring and employee benefits. This makes it more difficult for people to compete and negotiate salaries in the job market.

5. Social security pressures: As China's society ages, social security expenditures, such as pensions and healthcare, are increasing. This may lead to greater pressure on the government and businesses to provide benefits and social security, thereby limiting individual salary increases and benefits packages.

At the same time, China's economy is evolving and restructuring, and new opportunities and challenges may arise in the future.

The above is my personal opinion, if you have a different view welcome to discuss in the comments section!
