Japan's purchase of F-35 fighter jets has taken shape. F35 is better than F22. How much better than our domestic J 10 J20, and how much threat can it be?

First of all, it is still early for Japan's F-35 to form combat effectiveness. Even the United States itself will take 20 16 years at the earliest to form its initial operational capability (IOC), and Japan will have no future. It is estimated that it will be good to achieve combat effectiveness in 2020.

Second, the air combat capability of the F-22 is superior to that of the F-35. F-22 is a heavy aircraft, which is superior to medium-sized F-35 in range, maneuverability, bomb load (air-to-air missile) and radar performance. The development time of F-35 is later than that of F-22, so some avionics are more advanced than F-22, but F-35 emphasizes ground attack and its overall strength is not as good as F-22.

It should also be noted that the F-35' s emphasis on ground attack does not mean that the F-35 has no air combat capability. F-35 has absolute advantages over the traditional third-generation machines, such as J- 10, J- 15, J- 1 1 etc. In the face of the fourth-generation aircraft such as J-20 and T-50, we can also confront them with advanced network-centric warfare capabilities and EODAS (distributed photoelectric detection system, which can detect 360 degrees in all directions).

Japan has many islands, which are equivalent to "unsinkable aircraft carriers". The F-35 can be deployed flexibly, which is more dangerous to China's aircraft carrier. After all, there is no shadow of the fourth generation carrier aircraft that China can board the aircraft carrier at present. Therefore, the F-35 poses a great threat to our aircraft carrier.

On the other hand, due to the emergence of the J-20, the F-35 has little pressure on the inland of China. For the J-20, we can have enough confidence at present. The current progress of the J-20 is slightly behind that of the F-35, but due to the different research and development modes (China's "prototype" is much more mature than that of the F-35), not many are actually behind; China should be able to equip the Japanese with F-35s and J-20s.
