The Legend of Li Wa
This is a legendary novel of the Tang Dynasty, written by Bai Xingjian. The author, Bai Xingjian, wrote the story of Xingyang Sheng, who went to Beijing to take the examination and fell in love with Li Wa, a famous prostitute, but when he ran out of money, he was expelled by his pimp and wandered on the streets as a singer in a funeral parlor. Once he met with his father, Xingyang Gong, was flogged to death; later became a beggar, when the wind and snow for Liwa saved, the two live together. Under the care and encouragement of Li Wa, Xingyang Sheng recovered and studied furiously, and finally became an official, and Li Wa was named Mrs. Zhaanguo.
