Rice carving is also called powder carving. According to historical records, this folk custom of pinching rice carving has existed since the Song Dynasty and has been circulating for more than 1000 years. 2, dough modeling
There are rice carvings in the south, flour carvings in the north and rice carvings in the south are two unique things. According to the face pigs and maids unearthed from the Tang tombs in Xinjiang, the face sculptures have been around for at least 1300 years.
It mainly uses flour as the main raw material, and uses some simple tools to knead various vivid patterns by hand. In many places, there are many flower cakes, flour flowers, steamed bread and dough mixer, all of which are its manifestations. At present, dough sculpture technology has been included in the national intangible heritage.
3, sugar plastic
Sugar plastic is also called sugar blower, Tang Hua, sugar squeezer, etc. It is made by adding edible red, blue and black pigments to maltose after heating and softening, and then using some simple tools to shape patterns by blowing, pulling, pinching, tearing, kneading, pressing and cutting. The pattern made is like a work of art, which makes people never tire of seeing it. At present, sugar plastic technology has been included in the national level.
4. Longxusu
Longxusu, formerly known as Yin Si Sugar, was once a royal snack, and later spread to the people, and was deeply loved by people. The production technology of this snack has been passed down for more than 2000 years.
Mainly made of honey, maltose, peanut stuffing, glutinous rice flour, sesame seeds, dough and other ingredients. The finished product looks dense, like dragon beard meat, with distinct layers, sweet and slag, crispy and delicious.
5. Sesame candy
In the past, people would eat sesame candy when offering sacrifices to stoves on the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month. This sesame candy has no additives. It takes sesame, maltose and glutinous rice as the main raw materials, all of which are carefully made by traditional formula. 12 process, 32 links, the layers inside sesame candy are like combs. The taste is crisp, sweet but not greasy, and the flavor is unique and memorable.
