How to Knit Floor Sock Jacquard

Floor sock jacquard is a traditional Chinese weaving craft and a very popular handicraft which is often used to decorate loose plush carpets on the floor. There are many ways to weave floor sock jacquard, but the following are the most commonly used weaving methods.

1. Preparation: Prepare the materials to be used first, which usually include a loom, fine pile or wool yarn, an open shuttle and weaving sticks.

2. Making the weaving cloth: Hook the fine floss or woolen thread onto the loom, and then use the open shuttle to pick out the threads, which are then interwoven into a sturdy ground cloth after repeated steps of winding, landing, and threading the needle.

3. Jacquard weaving: After getting the woven cloth, use a weaving stick to gently tap on the cloth according to the jacquard pattern. In this way, you can make a beautiful jacquard floor cloth.

4. Processing: After the jacquard floor cloth is professionally processed, the finished product will be rolled up or cut into appropriate sizes and packed into boxes.

In short, floor sock jacquard is a very traditional handicraft that requires a lot of time and effort in the weaving process. However, after the complete process of knitting, the resulting jacquard floorcloth is so beautiful that it is perfect whether it is used for home décor or as a gift for friends and relatives.
