The aerodynamic shape of an aircraft is mainly determined by its design purpose. As a fighter used in air combat, it is required to have high speed and high maneuverability, which will inevitably make its lines smooth and beautiful. Our country's foundation in this respect is obviously worse, and the processing technology is also relatively backward, so the surface of our country's aircraft fuselage looks a bit rough and ugly. Of course, the appearance is not as beautiful as that of European and American planes. However, modern combat aircraft increasingly emphasize electronic and stealth performance, and the shape design needs to be adjusted to meet these needs, so "a beautiful aircraft is a good aircraft" may not be realistic. For transportation, bombing, anti-submarine, electronic warfare and other aircraft that do not emphasize mobility, the appearance and performance are even worse. In fact, the level of theoretical research and design in China is very high, not much worse than that in Europe and America. But the processing technology is too poor. I'm afraid this is partly due to the industrial system of the Soviet Union. European and American countries have specialized technical research, but the Soviet Union does not attach importance to it. In the early days of the People's Republic of China, China learned from the Soviet Union in all aspects, and thus inherited this shortcoming. As a result, many things can only be designed but not manufactured, or the product quality is not up to standard. In order to achieve practical level, we must design it as conservatively as possible. Su -27 is the product of the Soviet designer's aerodynamic design to the extreme. It is expensive and really beautiful. However, the backward processing technology has seriously affected the quality of the green body (especially the leather surface). It would be terrible to have a chance to observe it up close. Our homemade J- 1 1 and J- 10 are much better than it. This is also related to the Soviet Union's belief that "fighter planes are a large number of consumables in wartime, and there is no need to be too elaborate".
