What are the traditional operas of Sichuan Opera?

The traditional repertoire of Sichuan Opera is very rich, and there is a saying that "three thousand in Tang Dynasty, eight hundred in Song Dynasty, and the Three Kingdoms can't finish talking". The Sichuan Opera Research Institute has about 1 1,700 plays with original characters, and about 1 1,000 scripts have been recorded. From 1955 to 1957, there are 400 traditional repertoires collected, arranged and performed in Chengdu and Chongqing. Among these plays, there are Five Robes, Four Pillars, Eighteen Books in Jianghu, and the Four Books recognized by Sichuan Opera.

Hong Mei Ji, Golden Seal, Pipa Ji and Ban Chao (the first note) are the four tenor books.

"Five Robes" is about Xue's green robe (that is, green robe and peach blossom), white robe and red robe (that is, white rabbit).

The Book of the Blue Robe (also known as Five Blessingg Hall) tells the story of an 82-year-old scholar in Liang Hao.
