What are the ancient scripts?

I. Khitan script

Khitan script is the official script created by the Khitan people when they founded the Liao Kingdom, of course, Khitan script is a script created with reference to Chinese characters. The Khitan were a nomadic people in the north of ancient China, the Khitan state was founded in 907 A.D. Later they created two scripts, the Khitan large character and the Khitan small character.

Unfortunately, after Jin destroyed Liao, the Khitan script was abandoned, and no one has continued to use it since then; it was probably used for about two to three hundred years.

Second, Nujinwen

Nujinwen is a script created by the Nujin tribe in the Jin Dynasty, created in the twelfth century. It appeared shortly after the establishment of the Jin Dynasty, and was used as the official script, along with Chinese characters. After the Mongols defeated the Jin Dynasty, some of the survivors of the Jin Dynasty continued to use the Jurchen script, but it was later replaced by the Manchu script.

The Turkic language

The Turkic language is a phonetic script used by the Uyghur and other ethnic minorities, which first appeared in the 7th and 10th centuries. In the middle of the sixth century, the Turkic people came to live on the Mongolian plateau and created their own script, Turkic. The Turkic script is very similar to the Suttese script and has been recorded in Chinese historical records.

Four, Bastba Mongolian

Bastba Mongolian is a Mongolian script created by Kublai's state master during the Yuan Dynasty, and is also known as the Bastba Mongolian script because of the creator's name, Bastba.

The creation of the Bastba script pushed the Mongols into the long history of civilization to a certain extent, and also made their civilization continue to progress and develop. Unfortunately, after the demise of the Mongol Yuan Empire, the Bastba Mongolian script became obsolete, and no one continued to use it.

Fifth, Kharosthi

Kharosthi, also known as the Kharosthi book, Kharosthi is the 3rd century BC, India's Peacock Dynasty of the Ashoka period of the text, and later through the Silk Road to China, and in the fourth century AD, with the demise of the dynasty, the Kharosthi text also disappeared. No one recognized the script or continued to use it afterwards, which we find very sad.

Sixth, Sutra

Sutra was a script used for commerce in northwestern China, and then the Sutra people were ruled by the Turkic people, and then the Arabs took control of the Sutra people in the eighth century. So as time progressed, after the ancient state of Liut disappeared, so did the Suit script.

Seven, Tuvaluan

Tuvaluan was found in Xinjiang, China, and was later discovered by archaeologists to have two dialects of east and west, known as Yanqi and Guzi. From this, it can also be seen that the wisdom of the ancients is very powerful, even the text will be divided into two dialects.

Eight, Xixia text

Xixia text is also called Heshi character, Tangut text, is a kind of Xixia Dangshang tribe of the script, prevalent for about two centuries. It is a pity that the language of the Xixia people is now lost, but it is related to the current ginger language.

Nine, ü-Tsangwen

According to the literature, ü-Tsangwen is a kind of script used by the Serbs in the ü-Tsang area, and it is also a kind of pinyin script. In recent archaeological excavations, records of this script have been found in the Hotan region of Xinjiang, which was called ü-Tep in ancient times.
