Effect of breast fibroma surgery on breast feeding
Milk secretion pathway
The mammary gland consists of lobules and ductal system. Generally, there are 15-20 lobules in the breast, and the ducts of each breast come together to form a nipple. When milk is secreted: the milk secreted by mammary lobules goes to the catheter system and is discharged through the nipple. Therefore, as long as the mammary lobules and ductal system are unobstructed, milk will be continuously secreted.
Mode of operation
At present, fibroma surgery is mainly minimally invasive rotary surgery and traditional open surgery. Minimally invasive surgery: a rotary needle with a diameter of about 3mm is placed at the breast fibroma, and then the tumor tissue is sucked out of the body by vacuum negative pressure rotary cutting in vitro. Traditional open surgery: make an incision on the surface of breast tumor, and cut the skin, fat and gland in turn. Dissect the tumor completely.
breast feeding
Whether minimally invasive surgery or incision surgery, tumor tissue removal has no effect on breast lobules and mammary ducts. Therefore, breast fibroma surgery generally does not affect breastfeeding.
