Where are the Russians from?

There are more than 130 ethnic groups in Russia, among which Russians account for 82.95%.

Russians originated from a branch of the Eastern Slavs and belong to the Europa race. They have the basic characteristics of this race: light-colored leather limbs, soft wavy hair, well-developed beard and body hair, narrow and high nose, thin lips, straight chin, clear facial contour and medium build.

However, Russians also have their own characteristics: North Russians belong to the White Sea-Baltic type in the Europa race, with medium build, long head, nasal process, straight or concave nose, and shallow hair and eyes. Southerners of Russia belong to the Central European type (or Albion type) in the Europa race, with medium or above stature, wide and short head, wide face, high and big nose and yellowish and wavy hair color.

Characteristics of the Russian nation:

Russia's ethnic origins have been obviously mixed since it first entered the historical stage. Only in this integration of North Germanic and Eastern Slavs, Eastern Slavs gained the upper hand. Although Varan Russians became rulers, they were gradually assimilated by local Eastern Slavs.

The ancestors of these Russians lived in the northern plain of Eastern Europe near the Arctic Ocean. The grey sky, endless ice and snow, and barren grasslands make it impossible for Gullas people to live and work in peace and contentment for a long time. This largely determines their lifestyle, personality, psychology and even beliefs.
