Architecture of Luochuan Folk Museum

Located in the north of Luochuan County, the Luochuan Folk Museum is a group of courtyard-style buildings restored according to the style of Qing Dynasty houses. The mansion includes both kiln caves, which are common in northern Shaanxi Province, and tile houses, which are found in rural areas in the middle of the countryside. Built in 1985, covers an area of 4 acres, building area of about 1800 square meters, the main building in accordance with the Qing Dynasty residential style restoration construction.

The overall building reflects the unique residential style of the high loess plateau in northern Shaanxi and the Guanzhong Plain. Outdoor folk auspicious patterns, using folk wood carving, brick carving, stone carving and other traditional carving techniques, fine carving, all-encompassing, is a good place for travelers and tourists.
