Lightning what connector
The Lightning connector, also known as the lightning connector, is a proprietary connector specification made by Apple.
It first appeared at the launch of the iPhone 5 in 2012, and it is since the iPhone 5 that successive generations of new iPhones and iPads have been equipped with this Lightning data port.
The Lightning connector has eight pins on each side, and the white part insulates these pins from each other. The outermost layer of metal actually serves as a ground, so the Lightning connector is technically a 9-pin pin design. Each side of the connector is a little recessed, mainly to allow it to fit snugly into the slot, and there's a spring-loaded tab on the left and right side of the slot's interior.

Maverick 30pin interface Apple's 30pin interface, although relatively large, but has a charging, high-speed data transmission, audio output, console and other functions, and at the same time in the nine years of time in the evolution of the Apple has added a high-definition video output, photos, and other functions.
But the traditional 30-pin connector is also falling behind. One of the main drawbacks is that it takes up a lot of space. In iFixit's teardown Apple's 30-pin connector took up a lot of space, a shortcoming that has finally been reformed in the iPhone 5. Apple started using the new 8-pin Lighting connector.
