Homemade honey red beans

material

I like to use my own honey red bean steamed coconut honey red bean cake (original by Mommy Qiu) to nourish and nourish. It's really pleasing to the eye and delicious. You can try:

Red beans-500g (about 3 cups)

Water-1500g, salt-1/4 teaspoons.

Fine sugar-250g

working methods

1. After washing the red beans, add 1/4 teaspoons of salt and soak them in 1500g of water for about 1 hour.

2. Bring the fire to a boil, and then turn to low heat for 20 minutes. Turn off the fire (cover the pot tightly) and stew on the stove for 20 minutes.

3. Bring the red beans to the boil again, and cook for another 20 minutes on low heat, then turn off the heat and cook for another 20 minutes.

After 4.20 minutes, take some top red beans to eat. When the top red beans are cooked, the whole pot of red beans will be cooked (the red beans should be peeled, but don't stir hard, otherwise the honey red beans will not be made and become red bean paste).

5. Make sure the red beans are ripe. First, fill 2 cups of red bean soup to make coconut milk honey red bean cake or bread.

6. After the red bean soup is heated again, drain the red beans with a colander, put them in a fresh-keeping box, pour in fine sugar, and gently stir with a spoon to prevent the red beans from going bad. After stirring well, turn the red beans from time to time until the sugar melts. When the red beans are cold, cover the fresh-keeping box and put them in the refrigerator 1 day, and the honey red beans are finished. You can make cakes, dinner bags, or ice cream, or you can add some hot water to cook it, which is red bean soup that you can eat at any time.

6. If you use a pressure cooker, it is enough to cook for 20 minutes on low heat after rolling.

7. If you use a braised pot, put it in water for 5 minutes, put it in an outer pot for 60 minutes, cook it again, and stew it for 60 minutes. Stew the beans until they are crispy, but don't cook them until they are rotten.

Tip:

1. Honey red beans can be boiled more than once, refrigerated in a small fresh-keeping box, and can be used at any time when needed.

2. If there is still a lot of red bean soup in the pot, under the principle of not wasting, don't pick up all the red beans in advance, deliberately leave some peas in the pot, add some dried longan and some soaked lilies, and if the soup is not enough, add some water until the red beans are rotten, and add some brown sugar. This is another dessert.
