What's a good brand of vinegar to buy?

I've had all four famous vinegars. Shanxi Old Chen Vinegar, Zhenjiang Fragrant Vinegar, Fujian Yongchun Old Vinegar, and Langzhong Boning Vinegar.

What kind of vinegar you like depends entirely on your personal taste.

I am from Shanxi, I usually like to eat Zilin aged vinegar from Shanxi, of course the most famous Shanxi aged vinegar is Ninghuafu aged vinegar, but I personally don't like the taste of Ninghuafu aged vinegar. The picture below is a kind of package in Zilin aged vinegar. No matter which brand of vinegar, there are at least ten kinds of packages.

Baoning vinegar also has a good taste, similar to Zilin, and is usually found on the tables of Sichuan street restaurants. The following picture of the restaurant table on the Bao Ning vinegar like this.

Now I often eat a thousand Harvest ten years cellar vinegar. The first time I ate Thousand Harvest three years vinegar, then five years, then deeper and deeper ten years, of course, the price is also straight up. A bottle of Thousand Harvest Ten Years Vinegar is about $30 for 500ml, which really isn't cheap. The only reason I'm eating Ten Years of Thousand Harvest Vinegar is solely because of the...super...market...discount...discount. Thousand Harvest Ten Year Vinegar is pictured below.

Combined with my experience of eating vinegar, the quality of vinegar is basically positively correlated with the price. Simply put, the more expensive the vinegar, the better it tastes (except for organic vinegar, organic goods are another matter).
