Brief introduction of prison

Due to historical reasons, the former site of Yingshan Prison is located in a remote mountainous area in central Guangxi, with inconvenient transportation and blocked news. The buildings inside are old, mostly built in the sixties and seventies, which seriously restricts the reconstruction conditions and development pace of the prison. A person in charge of Yingshan Prison said that although the prison is a punishment institution, it bears the obligation to educate prisoners to study hard, so the hardware facilities are very important for the transformation.

In response to the "three changes" strategic plan put forward by the Ministry of Justice in 2000 (prisoners' labor reform is from outdoor to indoor, from decentralized to centralized, and from agriculture to industry), a modern prison was built in the new site in 2007, and the overall relocation was realized in June165438+1October 65438+March 2007.

Xinyingshan Prison is located 5 kilometers east of Guilin, with convenient transportation. Rows of modern buildings, hospitals, kitchens and teaching buildings are all available, and there is a basketball court under each independent accommodation area.
