Interim measures for the promotion and management of public service advertisements
Legal basis: According to Article 1 of the Interim Measures for the Publicity and Management of Public Service Advertisements, in order to promote the development of public service advertisements, standardize the management of public service advertisements and give full play to the positive role of public service advertisements in socialist economic construction, political construction, cultural construction, social construction and ecological civilization construction, these measures are formulated in accordance with the Advertising Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and relevant regulations. Article 2 of the Interim Measures for the Publicity and Management of Public Service Advertisements stipulates that the term "public service advertisements" as mentioned in these Measures refers to non-profit advertisements that spread socialist core values, advocate good morality, promote the improvement of citizens' civilized quality and social civilization, and safeguard the interests of the state and society. Government information, service information and other public information and special promotional videos do not belong to the public service advertisements mentioned in these Measures.
