How to install fishing rod

The method of installing the fishing rod is to pass the fishing line through the guide ring, fix it on the reel, and connect the fishing rod with the hook.

1. Ready

Make sure the fishing rod is installed in a spacious place, away from obstacles. Check whether the fishing rod is intact and there are no damaged or defective parts.

Assemble fishing rod

Fishing rod is a tool that can play a major role in fishing. Choose the right fishing rod. After selection, it needs to be installed and assembled with other fishing gear.

First, insert the sections of the fishing rod in turn, and ensure that the sections are closely connected when inserting. Then, insert the smallest section into the bottom of the fishing rod as a support for fixing the ground. Finally, the guide ring at the top of the fishing rod is placed at the end of the fishing rod.

Install fishing line

Thread the fishing line through the guide rings of the fishing rod, and through each guide ring from the top to the bottom. At the end of the fishing line, the fishing line is fixed on the reel by knotting. If you need a longer fishing line, you can connect two fishing lines with a connector.

Connecting fishing rod and hook

Connect the other end of the fishing line to the hook. It can be fixed with fishing knots or fishing ropes. Ensure that the hook tip and the hook ring are in a straight line with the fishing line, which can increase the hook catching rate.

Adjust fishing rod

Adjust the length and curvature of fishing rod to adapt to different fishing positions and fish. If you need a longer fishing rod, you can insert more sections. Shake the fishing rod gently, check whether there is any loose or unstable part, and repair it.

Storage fishing rod

After fishing, loosen the fishing line, take off the hook and put the fishing line back on the reel. Dismantle the segments of the fishing rod one by one, and be careful not to break the guide ring or segment during storage. Clean the fishing rod and put it in a suitable fishing rod bag or shelf for storage.

Finally, connect the hook with the main line. When installing, you must make the hook handle forward, and then slowly start winding the main line from the hook handle. After winding, pull out the thread end, and after tensioning, dispose of the redundant thread end with scissors.
