Wuzhen, the six ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River, is rich in humanities and antique.

Wuzhen is one of the six ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River, and a national 5A scenic spot. In my opinion, Wuzhen is the first of the six ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River. Wuzhen is divided into Dongzha and Zhaxi, so the area of Wuzhen is the largest among the six ancient towns. The tour modes of Dongzha and Tashi in Wuzhen are also very different. There are many cultural attractions in Dongzha, so pay attention to the explanation of the attractions. Tashi also has cultural attractions, but more attractive are cruise ships, bars, night scenes and so on. Tashi is larger than Dongzha. In the tourist season, it is almost impossible to visit Dongzha and Zhaxi in Wuzhen in one day, so we only went to Zhaxi scenic spot with better scenery. There are more than 9,000 meters of rivers and 72 ancient bridges in Wuzhen, Zhaxi. The density of rivers and the number of stone bridges are the highest in ancient towns in China. Walking in Wuzhen Zhaxi Scenic Area, you will feel that you have been crossing the bridge. The buildings in Wuzhen Scenic Area are well preserved, and the antique scenery is suitable for taking pictures everywhere and walking in the streets.

After entering the scenic spot, tourists can immediately take a cruise or visit sightseeing bus in the scenic spot, or walk along the walking plank road to Zhaxi scenic spot. Visitors walking along the road will see Wuzhen Grand Theatre, which looks like a "Bird's Nest", just across a lake from the scenic spot. There is a platform for shooting Wuzhen Grand Theatre on the walking plank road.

Mu Xin Art Museum is a fee-paying attraction. Adult ticket to 20 yuan. Mu Xin is a contemporary writer and painter in China. This art gallery is headed by Chen Danqing, a student and painter from Mu Xin. The Art Museum displays Mu Xin's paintings and manuscripts from different periods. There are about 100 paintings and about 50 manuscripts in this museum, which interested tourists can visit.

Visitors usually enter through the 1 gate in the north of Zhaxi Scenic Area in Wuzhen. The first scenic spot is Hongyuantai Dyeing House. The elevated threshing floor is the main reason to attract tourists to take pictures. This is the ancient cloth dyeing process, and the dyed cloth is dried on the threshing floor. I don't know when, many young people began to like ethnic costumes and saw many young tourists taking pictures in dye houses.

Xi Shi divided Wuzhen into north and south parts. Zhaxi Street is the main road on the north side of Zhaxi Scenic Area in Wuzhen, which runs through the east and west of Zhaxi Scenic Area, with a total length of 1.800 meters and a width of only 3-5 meters. Many buildings in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties can be seen on both sides of the street, mostly residential buildings, and the water town style is well preserved. Xiyangyang Hall is a very prosperous area at the entrance of Zhaxi Street, introducing the customs related to ancient marriage.

Go through jiefang bridge and come to Lingshuiju in the south. Lingshuiju is a relatively quiet place in Zhaxi Scenic Area of Wuzhen. There are three memorial halls here, namely Mao Dun Memorial Hall, Wang Memorial Hall and Kong Youjing Memorial Hall. Apart from the three memorial halls, Lingshui House gives me a feeling a bit like Jiangnan gardens, buildings with blue tiles and white walls, small lakes and various plants in Jiangnan gardens.

Mao Dun Memorial Hall is three memorial halls that I am interested in. The memorial hall is a two-story wooden building, which is divided into east and west units. Mao Dun's great-grandfather bought it twice. The memorial hall includes a bedroom, a study and a dining room. Entering the memorial hall, you can see the layout of Mao Dun in his later years. The left area introduces the growth story of Mr. Mao Dun and the literary works edited by Mr. Mao Dun. In addition to seeing the previous daily necessities and layout, Mao Dun's cemetery is also located here.

The best place to see the rivers and hand-cranked boats in the ancient town is to enjoy them on the bridge. There are many bridges in Zhaxi Scenic Area in Wuzhen. We used to be in the south of Tashi, across the Qianshan Bridge and back to the north of Tashi. We can enjoy the most beautiful scenery of Jiangnan water town on Qianshan Bridge.

Wuzhen Post Office is located at 500 Zhaxi Street, which is one of the most popular areas in Wuzhen. Visitors who like to send postcards can buy some postcards with Wuzhen scenery at the post office and send them to relatives and friends.

As night falls, Bailian Street, as a bar street, is more lively in Wuzhen at night. Starting from Zhaxi Street, you need to pass Tongji Bridge, but Tongji Bridge has a large number of tourists and it is difficult to move. It is suggested to go out of the market and then reach An Baili Temple and Bar Street through Ruyi Bridge. Wuzhen is known as "two towers and one scene, nine temples and thirteen temples", and one of the two towers is Bailianta Temple. An Baili Temple can also be the tallest building in Wuzhen, An Baili Baota Temple. The present Ambry Pagoda was rebuilt in 2005. The original Ambry Tower was built in the Song Dynasty and collapsed in 1868, surviving for more than 760 years.

The bar street in Wuzhen is very lively at night, and each bar has its own characteristics. For example, a bar invited an African folk music band to perform, and I prefer traditional music. It is not suitable to go to the bar to listen to slow songs and chat with friends.

Guandi Temple is one of the famous scenic spots in Wuzhen Zhaxi Scenic Area. Guandi Temple was built to worship Guan Yu, the general of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period. Guan Gong is one of Wu Caishen. Guandi Temple was built in Wuzhen, hoping that Guan Gong would become the patron saint of their wealth. The Guandi Temple in Wuzhen Scenic Area in Zhaxi is dedicated to the bronze statue of Emperor Guan Wu, flanked by Guan Gong's generals Zhou Cang and Guan Ping.

When I arrived at Guandi Temple and Wenchang Pavilion, I was almost ready to go back. It is suggested to walk from Nantangqiao to the water theater, and then walk along Zuosi Street, Wujiang Temple and Zhenshui Resort Hotel to the stormy corridor. Don't worry about missing the night view of Wuzhen. This route can also see the beautiful night view of Wuzhen. When you get to the stormy corridor, you can take the sightseeing bus in the scenic area and return to the exit. Sightseeing bus is the downtown, 10 yuan/person. If you don't take sightseeing bus, you can walk to the exit, which takes about 20 minutes. This road is very flat and completely different from the stone road in Wuzhen, Zhaxi, so it is safer and faster to take the elderly and children out of the scenic spot.

1. There is a parking lot in Tashi Scenic Area, which is quite large. However, when it comes to holidays, it is almost impossible for self-driving vehicles to enter, so they can only choose the surrounding temporary parking lot.

2. There are many routes for hand-cranked boats in Zhaxi Scenic Area, but they usually take a boat from Andufang Wharf to Ruyi Bridge Wharf (Wenchang Pavilion, Military Commander Temple) or take a boat from Andufang Wharf to Wang Jinli Wharf. Andufang Wharf is opposite the dyehouse. The cruise ship travels all the way according to the water tour route, and does not stop during the period. You can land early because of tourists' requirements, but the cost remains the same.

3. Wuzhen Zhaxi Scenic Area has a large area, so tourists with poor legs and feet don't have to worry. There are many rest areas and smoking areas in Wuzhen Zhaxi Scenic Area, so visitors can take a break. Some stone benches are still by the river, so you can enjoy the scenery by the river when you rest. Tourists who smoke must smoke in designated areas.
