How to effectively implement kindergarten national education
National studies refers to the traditional Chinese culture and academic studies, with Confucianism as the main body. In a broad sense, it includes classical recitation, literature and art, scientific and technological inventions, civilization and etiquette, and national fraternity. Early childhood national education can also be said to be traditional Chinese culture education.
Learning in early childhood is characterized by games, stories, children's songs, etc. Kindergarten is an important place for young children between the ages of three and six to learn and live, and the Guidelines for Children's Learning and Development point out that we "should cherish the unique value of play and life, create a rich educational environment, and rationally arrange the day-to-day life". Combining national education with daily education, putting young children in the atmosphere of traditional Chinese culture, and unconsciously making them learn by ear and experience the profoundness of Chinese civilization, building up a strong sense of national pride in their hearts and unconsciously developing good habits with Chinese virtues as the main moral standard. So, we can popularize Chinese culture education for young children in the following ways.
I. Classical recitation. The common mode is to carry out the national education class in the kindergarten (there are also the national education hall in the society), the national education class or the national education hall from the layout to create an ancient cultural atmosphere, with the Three Character Classic, Thousand Character Essay and other easy to understand, catchy canonical books as well as the Tang Dynasty poetry as the content of the education. The teaching method mainly imitates the ancient school education model, requiring children to learn in a peaceful manner. Some kindergartens do not have a separate class for Chinese studies, but introduce some of the classics as part of the regular curriculum. The function of classical recitation is to let the children achieve the integration of the content with their hearts through familiarization and memorization, and then get unconsciously awakened in a certain situation in daily life, so as to achieve the education of moral feelings and habits. For example, once I took the children in my older class to the park to look for spring, one girl suddenly noticed a cherry tree in the corner with a branch of colorful flowers, and she opened her mouth and said, "The corner of the number of plums ah!" It was not the correct thing to say (it was not a plum blossom), but the meaning was used in just the right way. On another occasion, a child did something wrong, the children and I criticized him and encouraged him to correct it, and a child suddenly shouted from the back: "If you can change your faults, you will return to nothing, and if you cover them up, you will add one more ku". As for "Rong four years old, can let the pear", "such as the bag of fireflies, such as reflecting the snow" and so on to learn, interaction, filial piety and fraternal duty, inspirational and other social aspects of the content, respectively, from the young children's interpersonal interaction and social adaptation and other aspects of the development of young children's social nature. However, the classical recitation is a bit old-fashioned and even boring. Sometimes it is difficult to avoid being formalized. For the 3 - 6 years of age, these children are very active, self-control is very poor, we must be from the teaching time to do a good job of organizing, and in the means of teaching supplemented with pictures, multimedia, etc., in order to make the children easy to accept.
Two, educational activities. Educational activities are different from the classic recitation, the game-based development of the collective education of young children with a goal of activities. Its educational content covers a wide range, embodied in the early childhood basic curriculum in five areas and cultural learning in all aspects of the form of lively and diverse, eclectic, generally by guiding young children to observe, experience, operation, communication and discussion, physical performance, games, etc., to achieve the aesthetics of traditional culture and habits of life, social interaction, behavioral norms of understanding. More often do the social field of collective education activities, such as "interesting Zodiac" by letting the children say their own and their family's phases, guide children to understand the interesting combination of birth and Zodiac, experience the phenomenon of the twelve zodiac cycle; "beautiful clothes" to the children to show the children of our country's multi-ethnic different dress style, and to lead to the theme: our clothes are not the same age, but our hearts are closely linked to each other, we have A *** with the same home ------ China, so as to carry out patriotism education. Culture and art can also generate activities, such as large class art "painting face", through observation to help children understand the characteristics of the face, and encourage children to design their own favorite face, so as to understand our country's opera culture, and at the same time develops the ability of young children to boldly innovate. In addition, there are other activities in the field of health, such as "Chinese Food", and in the field of language, such as idiomatic stories. Collective education activities cover a wide range of content, and can promote the coordinated development of children's physical, intellectual, moral and aesthetic aspects. And closely linked to the daily life of children, teaching methods and methods suitable for the age of children, follow the "Kindergarten Guidance Program" and "Learning and Development Guide" goals and requirements, is worth strongly advocating.
Third, the creation of the environment. There are many kindergartens to the Chinese characteristics as the theme of environmental creation, the form of wall decorations, hanging decorations, exhibition shelves placed, staircase stickers, etc., and its content, including culture and art, food, classical recitation, civilized etiquette and other aspects of the content. For example, the walls of our garden hang or post a variety of opera faces, cultural fans, paper cuttings, Chinese paintings, etc.; the hallway decorations are decorated with Chinese porcelain, a small theme named "Chinese Porcelain Rhythm"; the exhibition shelves are generally made into the shape of the Pokugu shelf, displaying a number of stones, bottles, clay as the carrier of the Chinese elements of the decorations. Hanging decorations with Chinese opera, Chinese porcelain, Chinese paper-cutting, Chinese fan art, the twelve Chinese zodiac signs, the four great inventions, the twenty-four festivals, the twenty-four filial piety, Chinese idioms and other stories drawings as the theme. These decorations firstly give people a strong Chinese flavor from the visual point of view, so that the children are in the atmosphere of Chinese elements, subconsciously experiencing the richness and vastness of Chinese culture, and feeling the atmosphere and elegance of Chinese civilization. At the same time, it guides and inculcates children in aesthetics, science and society. The wall can be supplemented with text descriptions, the production and collection of wall content can be teachers, children and parents, the formation of the wall and children interact with the wall and parents interact with the wall, but also in the staircase, columns, some small space to paste the Three Character Classic, Thousand Character Classic, and other canonical content, so that the children and parents can read at any time.
Fourth, parent-child activities. Generally refers to large-scale theme activities closely linked to traditional Chinese festivals or major holidays. We guide children to recognize traditional Chinese festivals, not limited to a few days of vacation, go out to play a few days. We should start from the cultural connotation and educational significance of these festivals. For example, the Dragon Boat Festival we can not only in the environment on the creation of hanging scented buns, mugwort, but also invite children from home to bring zongzi and children to taste, not only to experience the joy of sharing, but also combined with the story and pictures, video, to understand the origins of the Dragon Boat Festival, the great patriotism of the poet Qu Yuan to produce a sense of reverence; to the theme of the "reunion of the Mid-Autumn Festival" on the Mid-Autumn Festival, we can ask the grandparents to come to kindergarten! and babies to spend the holiday together, listen to grandma tell the story of Chang'e running to the moon, recite "but wishing for a long time, thousands of miles of *** Canyuanjuan", and encourage babies to offer mooncakes to their grandparents, feel the strong affection in the warm atmosphere, experience the virtue of respect for the elderly and love for the young; the Spring Festival, we can take the theme of "Red Hot China Year", in the kindergarten packet Spring Festival, we can use "Red Hot Chinese New Year" as the theme, in the kindergarten package dumplings, make fruit platters, dipping sugar gourds, making handmade lanterns, using a variety of materials, such as paste couplets, so that the children really feel the various elements of the Chinese New Year, triggering the children's love for the Chinese New Year. On this basis, we can extend the education of festival etiquette and moral habits. Large-scale parent-child activities to bring kindergartens, children and parents closer, so that parents recognize the importance of traditional Chinese education, and kindergarten to reach *** knowledge, to achieve the effect of home *** education, but also to facilitate the further extension of children's national education to the family.
V. Literary program. Large-scale cultural performances, we can rehearse the content or form and traditional Chinese culture closely linked to the program, guiding the children to music, rhythm, song and dance and other forms of performance, feel the beauty of Chinese culture, experience the connotation of Chinese culture. For example, the dance "New Singing of Tang Poetry" and the musical "Waiting for the Rabbit". These performances are firstly rehearsed for a long time, and during the rehearsal process, the teacher's guidance on the children's movements and expressions can guide the children to experience the meaning of the Chinese classics; secondly, these performances are grandiose, which enables the children to feel the grandeur of the Chinese culture. In addition, large-scale performances are often preserved in the form of videos, so that children will never tire of watching them, thus extending their educational significance.
In addition, we can also organize calligraphy classes and literacy classes, so that children can really feel the beauty of Chinese characters and lay a good foundation for reading and writing.
To sum up, the implementation of national education in kindergartens, combining traditional culture with normal education, is a way for young children to learn about our traditional culture in a subtle way. To promote Chinese culture, every kindergarten has its own different contents and practices. These contents and practices actually exist as a carrier of national education, whose ultimate goal, for individuals, is to help young children perfect their character and achieve success in life; as a nation, its mission is to safeguard its right to exist, protect its cultural characteristics, continue its cultural traditions, and renew its self-development capabilities. We hope that more people can recognize traditional Chinese culture, and we hope that more children can accept traditional Chinese culture, and we hope that kindergartens and teachers can effectively integrate traditional culture into the day-to-day life of young children's education, and guide young children to "be a human being, be a Chinese person, be a modern Chinese person!
