Understanding of the movie Frozen

In the patriarchal era, the male is always the protagonist, but in this movie, the male character instead becomes a supporting role, a background and a foil. Kristoff is the male lead in this animated work, he is a character used to balance out the work, a sincere, brave and humorous person, his presence does not take away from the lead role of the two sisters in the show.

Neither the Duke nor the Prince is a major character in this production, and the entire movie is basically narrated around Anna's adventures and Aisha's self-redemption. Anna's adventure and Elsa's redemption are two important features of female consciousness. In this production, the prince becomes the villain, which is the complete opposite of the traditional Disney animated productions.

One of the characters, Prince Hans, is also an indispensable one in this show, and his appearance, a standard Prince Charming image, Hans's appearance and the love story with Anna are more common scenes in Disney movies, a kind of clichéd plot.

But Hans's intentions are not pure, he approaches Anna in order to gain power and status, thus making him a cunning and sinister character in his own right, subverting the traditional image of Prince Charming.

The writers also arranged the role of Prince Hans to subvert the traditional sense of the male role, Prince Hans happens to represent a kind of person who obtains power as well as money and status through marriage, contrary to the traditional true love.

The Frozen storyline is an uncomplicated tale about the adventures of Anna, the movie's heroine, Kristoff the mountain man, and his reindeer, who form a partnership and set out to find their sister to save the kingdom due to a spell that has left the kingdom covered in snow.
