How to distinguish between good and bad when buying hot pot bottom material
To distinguish the authenticity of hot pot bottom material, we must first try to feel it. If it is particularly hard, it will break continuously, usually paraffin. In addition, butter melts completely in hot pot at 20 to 30 degrees Celsius, while paraffin generally melts at 50 to 70 degrees Celsius. Before eating hot pot, we usually wait until the soup in the pot is boiled. This is a good time to identify whether the bottom material is fresh or not. Watch carefully to see if there are many small bubbles at the bottom of the soup. If a large number of small bubbles are produced after the soup base is boiled, it means that there is probably something wrong with the bottom material of the pot, because under normal circumstances, fresh bottom material will not produce small bubbles. Another good idea is that we don't have to put the food into the pot immediately after the soup is boiled. We can salvage the soup base with a spoon to see if there is any residue in it. If there is, it proves that it is not a fresh hot pot bottom material.
