Introduction of Thumb Piano
The thumb piano (or "mbira" in English) is an African folk instrument with national characteristics. It is known by different names in different African countries, such as Kalimba in Kenya, Mbira in Zimbabwe, Likembe in Congo, Sanza and Thumb Piano. It is mainly named for the thin sheet on the body of the instrument (mainly made of wood, bamboo, and in modern developments also made of metal) that is plucked with the thumb. The traditional thumb piano utilizes a gourd to make the ****ing sounders.
