Appreciation of Huaian

This poem by Yang Shiqi is a genre painting on the lake.

In the first two sentences of the poem, Polygonum hydropiper, a plant unique to the water town, is selected, which is "sparse red", "green" and "white" and "as small as a flat". They are vivid, but simple and natural. The scenery of the water town is beautiful, but the author only captures the atmosphere of several plants in the water town with distinct colors. Although there is no detailed description of the scenery and seamless customs, it shows a vibrant and quiet scenery of Huai' an water town with strong visual contrast. The scenery is quiet, and the transition from the scenery to the sketch of the characters.

The following two sentences, from scenery to people, move in silence, adding vitality to the water town map. On the water, a boat came to pick diamonds. The girl picking diamonds on the boat wore two ring-shaped buns on her head and short-sleeved clothes, with her back to the poet, picking diamonds at the bow. This is what the poet saw, but once he put the artistic lens in, he became poetic. When the poet saw Qian Qian's back on the boat, he suddenly thought that the girl was shy and embarrassed to be seen, so he turned around to hide his shyness. The word "shame" and "self" are both born from the word "back", which not only depicts the enviable expression of women in water villages, but also is full of affection. Write two unrelated people, a poet who travels the scenery and a woman who picks ling, as one who wants to meet and say hello, and the other who is ashamed to say it, thus making the characters stand on paper. How much pen and ink a "back" byte saves, but it leaves room for full imagination, and no amount of positive description can achieve this effect. It is really ingenious for the poet to choose this angle to write.

The whole poem expresses the tranquility and peace of the water town, and its style is just like the water in the water town. It is elegant and light, and things are integrated with me. Because of the right choice, it's quite romantic.
