The story of Confucius and Mencius

An Eternal Monument-Confucius

In the far east, there is a saint, Confucius. He is a historical giant, a cultural giant and an ideological giant. His words and deeds have influenced the world for 2500 years. He is a diligent scholar. "There must be a teacher for a threesome", and his old adage infected all the later scholars. Growing up, he was never shy about asking questions. He would ask anything. In order to enrich his knowledge, he worships people from all walks of life as teachers, so he is proficient in etiquette, music, archery, driving and calculation. He advocates the learning attitude of "learning without thinking is useless, thinking without learning is dangerous", advocates the learning method of "reviewing old things and learning new things", and feels the happiness of "learning while learning". Teaching disciples that "knowing is knowing, not knowing is not knowing" is praised by later generations. He is an excellent educator. His "teaching without class" changed the past education model and trained more than 3,000 disciples, 72 of whom were excellent. He advocated teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and that teaching should learn from each other's strong points, which was spread in later education circles. He is a politician who advocates benevolence. The benevolent loves others. "The sage is his doctor, and the benevolent is his scholar". On the one hand, he asked the rulers to unite as one, on the other hand, he asked the rulers to cherish the people. When he heard that people would rather be eaten by tigers than exploited by rulers, he sent out the feeling that tyranny is fiercer than tigers. He is a wise thinker. "Knowing is not as good as being kind, and knowing is not as good as being happy." "Wise men enjoy water, benevolent people enjoy Leshan, erudite scholars move, and benevolent people are quiet. Those who know are happy, and those who know benevolence live long. " It passes on just like this, not ceasing day or night! ""When he gets cold, he will know that pine and cypress will die in the future. "His philosophical words have influenced generation after generation. His other contribution was the compilation of Shangshu, Shijing, Etiquette, Jing Yue and Zhouyi, which were later called the Five Classics. He also edited the Spring and Autumn Annals based on Lu Shi, which became the first chronological history book. His remarks were compiled by his disciples into The Analects of Confucius, which has been passed down through the ages. He created Confucian culture and influenced the development of feudal society. He is a historical monument, standing forever in the east of China and the world.
