How to deal with fire in five steps

Five steps to deal with a fire: immediately call the police, turn off the power, escape, rescue, and don't use the elevator.

At the beginning of the fire, the fire was weak and the scope was small. If effective measures can be taken to control the fire in time, the fire can be put out quickly. According to statistics, more than 70% of the fires were put out by people present. If it is not put out in time, the consequences will be unimaginable. For areas far away from the fire department, people should first emphasize self-help and try to nip the fire in the bud.

If your house is on fire, don't panic. You should take corresponding measures in time according to the fire: if the oil pan catches fire during cooking, quickly cover the lid so that the oil fire in the pan will be extinguished due to lack of oxygen. Don't put out the fire with water. When there is a fire in the room, don't open the doors and windows easily to avoid air convection and form a large-scale fire.

When paper, wood and cloth catch fire, water can be used to put out the fire. When electrical appliances, gasoline, alcohol and cooking oil catch fire, earth, sand and mud and dry powder fire extinguishers can be used to put out the fire.

Alarm method

1. Alarm to "1 19" fire station. The telephone number of fire alarm is "1 19". You can usually dial directly. When reporting a fire, you should clearly state your name, address, nature of combustible materials, whether there are trapped people and whether there are.

2. Alert the crew, passengers and customers. If the fire occurs in hotels, restaurants, shopping malls or other public places of entertainment, the fire directly threatens the life safety of people. When it catches fire, it should give them an alarm in time so that they can evacuate as soon as possible.

3. It is the traditional virtue of our people to be alert to the people and neighbors around us. In some fires in the past, you can often see people who are brave. At the beginning of the fire, when the fire alarm signal is issued, everyone present will have a common desire, that is, to put out the fire quickly.
