Embroidery of Folk Artists

Li Shuying (Top Ten Folk Artists in China in the 2nd China Folk Art Festival)-Guangdong Chaozhou Embroidery.

Li Shuying was born in Chaozhou, Guangdong. Her grandparents have been engaged in embroidery for four generations. Her grandfather Li Jinquan was a famous iron puppet workshop in Li Jinquan West Road, Chaozhou in the late Qing Dynasty. Puppet products are exported to Southeast Asia, South Fujian and East Guangdong, and are called "Puppet Plum".

At the age of eight, Li Shuying studied with her father Li Wenlong. Now he is good at Guangdong traditional embroidery art and puppet making skills. After retiring for many years, I persistently engaged in embroidery arts and crafts, set up an embroidery workshop by self-financing, sorted out the frequently lost Chaozhou embroidery stitches, and sorted out my personal skills, and published a paper on Chaozhou embroidery stitches. Zhang Tingzhen Miao in Taijiang County, Guizhou Province. Famous master of folk inheritance embroidery art, part-time master of folk embroidery art invited by folk art research office of Nanjing University, and one of the top ten folk art masters in Guizhou Province. Taijiang Miao folk embroidery expert was once rated as a national advanced female expert, a national model worker, a representative of the 16th National Congress, and a leader in the development of Miao embroidery in Taijiang County. He has been invited to participate in folk art performances and exhibitions at home and abroad for many times, and has been favored by consumers, won unanimous praise and won many awards.
