Pour sesame seeds into high-speed blender, pour 1000 ml water, and turn on the juicing function to make a delicate sesame paste. My juice function in high-speed blender is 2 minutes, which is about the same time. Sesame paste must be delicate, and the baked sesame cake tastes good.
Boil another 300 ml of water, add sugar, boil and melt, cool, pour in horseshoe powder, and mix in sesame paste.
The pot should be filled with enough water, and there must be a lot of water, because steaming the cake is a long process. Boil the water first. Prepare a large flat-bottomed plate, brush a layer of oil on the bottom to prevent sticking, scoop a spoonful of sesame paste into it, shake the plate to spread the paste all over the bottom of the plate, steam it until the color of the paste becomes dark and solidified, then scoop a spoonful of paste into it and spread it flat, and so on until all the paste is steamed.
It takes a little longer to steam the last few layers, because the bottom cake is thicker, and the thickness of the cake can be adjusted by itself.
Don't worry after the sesame seed cake is steamed. Must be thoroughly cooled. When cutting, put a little water on the knife and cut into pieces. If you don't like it too sweet, you can reduce the amount of sugar.
