Huaqiao University Men's Basketball Team is a traditional strong team in China University Basketball League (CUBA). He also won the 6th Asian College Basketball Championship on behalf of China. The team's skills combine the characteristics of "quickness, accuracy and agility" of China basketball and the unique style of Fujian basketball.

Basketball is a traditional sport of Huaqiao University. At the beginning of the school, the men's basketball team, which was dominated by overseas students, enjoyed a high reputation in Fujian Province and Southeast Asia.
