Skills of catching river crabs Five methods of catching river crabs

1, cage fishing method. This is the most effective method at present. Put the ground cage in the place where river crabs often move. When the crab gets into the cage, it can only crawl in one direction, and finally it reaches the net bag. When the cage is opened, the crab can be poured out.

2. Running water fishing. Before fishing, install a net basket fishing gear at the outlet of the crab pond, open the outlet to let the water flow, and the crab will climb into the basket with the flow of the pond water. However, it should be noted that river crabs cannot be caught at one time. When the pool water is 0.2-0.3 meters, water should be added, then water should be released, and so on.

3. Light trapping method. Install electric lights at the four corners of the crab pond, bury a water tank or set a trap under the lights, and release some pond water in the afternoon, and the crab hole will leak. At night, crabs will crawl under the light and fall into water tanks or traps to achieve the purpose of trapping.

4. Screen capture mode. Setting up a single-layer net in the crab pond generally takes early morning, evening and midnight as the key time to get off and collect the net according to the law of day and night activities of river crabs.

5, dry pond crab catching method. First, quickly drain the pool water to a depth of 30-40 cm, and then dig a crab-collecting ditch with a width of about 50cm along the center of the pool bottom to the outlet side. The depth of the ditch is not limited, but it should be gradually inclined. Dig a crab-collecting ditch with a length, a width and a depth of about 1 m at the outlet. When the water level gradually decreases, the river crab will climb into the crab ditch, finally enter the crab trough, and then pull the net by hand for fishing.
