Master Li Shubao's Chinese Painting Works

Master Li Shubao's traditional Chinese paintings include "Purple Gas Coming from the East" and "Bai Ji Map".

Master Li Shubao was born in a scholarly family and studied painting since childhood. He studied traditional painting with masters such as Huang Jun and Jiao Kequn for more than 40 years. He is the successor of Qi Baishi and Xinyu Pu. Master Li Shubao's three stunts are all in one. He not only works with freehand brushwork, but also has in-depth research on Dunhuang frescoes and innovative exploration on the painting method of emphasizing color and goujin. He is known as the first person in China's gold foil painting.

Fan Ceng, a famous painting master, is his younger brother. He studied under Huang Jun, and once collaborated with Li Shubao in the work "Purple Gas Coming from the East", drawing characters and inscriptions on the painting.

It is particularly worth mentioning that his great freehand brushwork, on the basis of traditional freehand brushwork, innovatively incorporated the creative idea of light source in western oil painting creation to reflect aesthetics, which made his works show unexpected performance effects and won the appreciation of UN Secretary-General Benan. On behalf of the UN, he specially collected his grape theme and called it "Li Grape".

Master Li Shubao's world record fan painting "Baijitu" is 2.2 meters high and 4 meters wide, and will be painted as master Li Shubao's famous stunt grape and 100 lucky chicken. Different from the traditional painting mounting method, this kind of creation needs to be created on the shaped giant fan. Painting on a huge vertical fan requires the creator to have a profound artistic foundation, and the fan fold also puts forward a very high requirement for the artist's artistic foundation.
