Ancient medical classics

The famous medical books in China include Huangdi Neijing, Shennong Herbal Classic, Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Injustice Collection, Medical Zong Jin Jian and so on.

1, Huangdi Neijing, author, Huangdi.

Huangdi Neijing is the earliest extant theoretical work of TCM in China, which has a far-reaching influence on the establishment of TCM theory in later generations. According to legend, this book is an account of the Yellow Emperor's discussions with Qi Bo, Lei Gong, Gao Bo, Yu Yu, Shao Shi, Guiyao District, Yu Shao and other ministers on medicine, and it is listed as a branch physician in Siku Quanshu.

Huangdi Neijing was written from the Warring States to the Qin and Han Dynasties, and continued to be revised and supplemented from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Neijing includes Su Wen and Ling Shu, with a total of 18 volumes and 162 articles. This book not only lays the theoretical foundation of TCM, but also is the cornerstone of the development of TCM theory and practice.

2, "Shennong Herbal Classic", the author, the legend is Shennong.

Shennong Benjing, referred to as Benjing for short, is the earliest extant monograph of traditional Chinese medicine. Unknown author, written in Qin and Han Dynasties. There are 365 kinds of drugs recorded in the book, which are divided into top grade, middle grade and inferior grade.

The original book has long been lost. In the Southern Dynasties, Tao Hongjing annotated Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica, supplemented Bielu, a famous doctor, and compiled seven volumes of Notes on Materia Medica, increasing the variety of drugs to more than 730. In the Qing Dynasty, Sun Xingyan compiled and revised Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica, which became a popular version now.

Shennong Ben Cao Jing is the earliest existing important pharmaceutical literature in China. In this book, medicines are divided into three categories: the top grade is considered as monarch, the middle grade as minister, and the bottom grade as adjuvant.

3. Treatise on Febrile Diseases by Zhang Zhongjing (Three Kingdoms).

Treatise on Febrile Diseases, also known as Treatise on Febrile Diseases, was written by Zhang Zhongjing in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is the first clinical work of Chinese medicine integrating theory with practice in China. This book is regarded as a scientific classic within TCM, which laid the foundation of TCM.

This book summarizes the ideological systems of Ye Jing Fa, Huangdi Neijing and Difficult Classics in the Tang Dynasty, and applies them to the diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine, creating the "six meridians syndrome differentiation" of exogenous typhoid-Taiyang disease, Yangming disease, Shaoyang disease, Taiyin disease, Shaoyin disease and Jueyin disease, and treating them side by side.

Among miscellaneous diseases, cholera, lily disease, yin-yang poison, malaria, fatigue, blood stasis, chest obstruction, drinking water disease, cough disease, miscellaneous diseases of women and so on are involved. And it can be called a classic of Chinese medicine science, and it is a physiological classic role relative to the inside and the south.

4. Injustice Collection, Song Ci (Song Dynasty).

Injustice Collection was written by Song Ci, a Song poet. Based on his rich autopsy experience in the judicial prison, combined with the autopsy books handed down later, the ancient forensic work of this system was completed by synthesizing, examining and refining. This is the earliest complete collection of forensic medicine in the world.

Yi Yuan Ji was written in the seventh year of Chun You (1247), with five volumes and fifty-three articles, and six themes: general examination, autopsy, bone examination, injury examination, poisoning and saving the dead.

According to the catalogue, the main items in this book are: the law of post-mortem injury in Song Dynasty; Autopsy methods and precautions; Investigate the scene; Postmortem phenomena; All kinds of mechanical asphyxia; All kinds of blunt trauma; Sharp instrument injury; Traffic accident injury; Death by high temperature; Poisoning; Disease and sudden death; Body excavation and so on.

It mainly covers the examination method of autopsy and the judgment of the cause of death, such as the difference between being burned to death and burning the body after death, and the difference between drowning before death and throwing the body in the water after death, which has insightful opinions. The "blood drop" mentioned in Yi Yuan Ji is also the "corpse spot" in modern forensic medicine.

5. The Golden Mirror of Doctor Zong, written by Qing.

The medical record gold mirror is referred to as the medical record gold mirror, with a total of 90 volumes. It is a large-scale medical series compiled by the government during the Qing and Long Dynasties. It was edited by Yi, a doctor who worshipped imperial doctors in the imperial court and a doctor's hospital, and was later included in Siku Quanshu. This set of books is highly praised in the Summary of the General Contents of Sikuquanshu.

This book is divided into 15 parts, including the revised notes of Treatise on Febrile Diseases by Zhongjing Encyclopedia, synopsis of the Golden Chamber, the theory of deleting and supplementing famous doctors' prescriptions, the key points of four diagnoses, the key points of luck, the key points of treatise on febrile diseases, the key points of gynecological heart therapy and so on.

And the essentials of acne, vaccine, surgery, ophthalmology, acupuncture and bonesetting.

Among them, Notes on Treatise on Febrile Diseases collected the notes of twenty famous doctors, and the contents were extremely detailed. The part of the formula is also very practical. After its publication, this book became the most important reading for medical education at that time.

This book has also become the most important series in the field of traditional Chinese medicine in northern China, which has a far-reaching impact on the field of traditional Chinese medicine in the north.
