How to read a guitar chord chart
The numbers in the six-line score indicate the guitar's pins, and the number written on the line indicates that the left hand presses the first few pins, and the line where the number is located is the string that the right hand should play; drawing an "X" on one or more of the six lines, at this time, the six-line score is often indicated by a fingering chart or markings on the top of the six lines. The left hand chord fingering chart or markings are often shown at the top.
Then you press the chord with your left hand, and the "X" indicates that you use your right hand to play the chord where it is located; you draw "↑" and "↓" symbols on two or more lines to indicate the direction of the string sweep. The sweeping direction of the chords is often indicated by the left hand fingering on the top of the hexachord.
