Is Miao Lusheng Dance the Intangible Heritage of Human Being?
Lusheng dance, also known as "stepping on Lusheng" and "stepping on karaoke bars", is named after dancing with Lusheng and bragging. Miao, Dong, Buyi, Shui, Gelao, Zhuang, Yao and other ethnic communities spread in Guizhou, Guangxi, Hunan and Yunnan. It is the most popular and widely distributed folk dance of southern minorities. In 2006, Miao Lusheng Dance was listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
The history of Lusheng dance activities has been involved in many previous documents. Judging from the unearthed bronze figures of Lusheng dance in the Western Han Dynasty, Lusheng dance has a history of at least 2,000 years. Since the Ming and Qing dynasties, it has been more common in literature and local chronicles. Amin Niti's Nanzhao unofficial history records: "Every year, when Meng leaps over the moon, men play lusheng and women sing in unison, dancing side by side all day, tirelessly". It can be seen that Lusheng dance has long been an important part of Miao traditional festival activities, and it is all the rage.
Dance characteristics
Lusheng dance, from music to dance, contains a slow and sad mood. Dances and movements such as "exploring the road", "going to the river beach" and "looking at home" are said to be the reappearance of scenes in ancient Miao legends, such as the Miao people marching on muddy roads with heavy loads, riding on the backs of cattle and looking backwards at their hometown, watching whether their compatriots behind them catch up with the fleeing team and missing those who died because of crossing the river.
Dance gives people a solemn and sad feeling with difficult movements and plaintive sheng sound. It seems to be a kind of historical recollection, and it seems to show people a vivid historical picture.
Sheng dance takes "exploring step" as the basic dance step. The "exploration step" dancer lifted her left foot to the left and drew a small semicircle to land. Her right foot leans to the left, her body leans to the left and leans slightly to the right at the same time, and her right foot makes symmetrical movements. This movement, like other dances in Miao Hua, such as "flute tune" and "bamboo dance", has its own strong national characteristics.
