What types of bioenergy are included, and what are their advantages and disadvantages?

The advantages are:

(1) provide low-sulfur fuel,

(2) provide cheap energy (under certain conditions),

(3) converting organic matter into fuel can reduce environmental hazards (such as garbage fuel),

(4) Compared with other non-traditional energy sources, there are fewer technical problems.

As for its shortcomings:

(1) Plants can only convert very little solar energy into organic matter.

(2) The organic energy per unit surface is low,

(3) Lack of land suitable for planting plants,

(4) Organic matter contains too much water (50% ~ 95%)

Biomass energy comes directly or indirectly from photosynthesis of plants, and its reserves are huge. The energy produced by plants on the earth alone is equivalent to 20 times of the mineral energy currently consumed by human beings, or equivalent to the food energy of the existing population in the world.
