Do you make money selling thermos, mugs and cups at a stall in a rural township fair?
Several villages or townships are organized into rural fairs. Every month or every week there is a fixed date as the assembly day, and there are stalls in the bazaar. The goods sold are basically those close to the daily necessities of the farmers and fulfill the needs of the local farmers.
There are daily necessities in rural areas such as brooms, shovels, cooking utensils, tables and chairs. Examples of daily necessities include clothes, shoes and socks, bedsheets, quilt covers, and so on. There are local agricultural products for sale such as vegetables, grains and cooking oil. There are also razors, medicine sellers, needles, threads and brains. Rural bazaars can be described as all-encompassing, selling a wide variety of things.
Because most of the things sold at rural bazaar stalls are sold by farmers, the buyers are basically farmers. Consumption levels are relatively low, so prices are relatively low. In short, it is very difficult to sell things that are too expensive in rural markets. For example, a dress costs about a few dozen dollars. If it is sold in a shopping center for hundreds of thousands of dollars, it cannot be sold in the rural market. What kind of market corresponds to what kind of consumer group, it also constitutes the rural market.
The rural marketplace has now become a gathering place for rural uncles and aunts. At present, few young people in rural areas are at home, and few young people usually loiter in such bazaars. Therefore, rural uncles and aunts, whether they buy or not, want to have fun.
