What is a bucket?

Dou (pinyin: dǒu, dòu) is a common word (a kind of word) in Chinese, both of which originated in Oracle Bone Inscriptions and have their own meanings. The original meaning of a bucket (dǒu) is a container for holding wine and a tool for measuring grain. Later, it was extended to the unit. However, the seal script in Shuowen has been seriously distorted, and the bucket-shaped system from Oracle Bone Inscriptions to Qin and Han Dynasties has remained basically unchanged.

It means something like a bucket. The original meaning of "Dou-Dou -u" refers to the image of two people fighting with their bare hands, and a phonetic symbol is added in the back fight to distinguish the word "dog". The word "dou" and "dog" have been cancelled and replaced by the word "dou", which means fighting, winning or losing in a competition and striving for victory.
