What does baohua mean?
Generally, some flowers (such as peony and lotus) are the main body, and other flowers and leaves with different shapes and sizes are embedded in the middle. Especially in the flower core and petal base, the round beads are arranged regularly, like sparkling pearls, with multi-layer fading, rich and precious, hence the name "Baohua".
Extended data
Treasure pattern is one of the traditional decorative patterns in ancient China. It sums up the perfect deformation of petals, buds and leaves from natural images, and is formed by artistic processing and combination.
From the flower shape point of view, in addition to the lotus flower, the lotus flower also has the characteristics of peony flower, and the multi-level arrangement of petals makes the pattern have a graceful and gorgeous aesthetic feeling. This pattern is also called baohua. After Sui and Tang Dynasties, precious flowers were widely used in brocade, bronze mirror and porcelain decoration, which contained auspicious and happy meanings. This is a unique pattern of our nation.
